Independent Bank Hosted Artists
Pearland Arts League’s artists Rona Lesser, Naomi Stevens, Magdalena Kraus, and Sandra Derrick exhibited their paintings during the month of August at Independent Bank, 4605 West Broadway. “Independent Bank is excited to host the fine artists of Pearland Arts League,” Ms. Washington, Branch Services Manager stated. She invited the public to visit the bank during the month of August to view the exhibition.

Holiday Inn Express and Suites Hosted Artist For July

Artist, Margo I. Green, exhibited her abstract paintings during the month of July at Holiday Inn Express and Suites at 1702 N. Main St.(Hwy. 35). Ms. Green, a noted artist in the Pearland and Houston/Galveston area, received her degree in art from Texas Woman’s University and holds additional certificates in Interior Design and Floral Design. Ms. Green states, “I believe abstract art encourages one to think. A conclusion must be reached by the abstract art viewer. One opinion of what the viewer is seeing is often different from the opinion of another. Heritage Bank Hosted Pearland Arts League Artists

Heritage Bank the bank “People can count on” located at 1850 Pearland Parkway in Pearland hosted two award winning Pearland Arts League artists in their “Artists in Businesses” series for the month of June.
Kimvak Jen an accomplished oil brush and palette knife painter exhibited her work. Ms. Jen studied the art of brush painting with art master, Liu Shi. She loves to instill feelings into her painting, making the painting spring with life. She believes good paintings have a “life and soul.” Ms. Jen’s work was seen at Heritage Bank, Salons by JC, Pearland,Galveston Art League on 22nd St. Galveston and Affaire d'Art Galveston.
Also, exhibiting was Peihong D. Endris,, born in China, graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1990. Ms. Endris was editor for Beijing Review Magazine. Among her many credits are solo exhibitions in Houston, Singapore and California. Ms Endris is active in Pearland Arts League showing her work at Heritage Bank, Re/Max Top Realty and Sal9ons by JC, Pearland. She is an art instructor in Chinese brush painting and water color. Heritage Bank has been very generous in allowing Pearland Arts League to hold their monthly meetings at their bank on the second Thursday of the month at 6PM in their spacious conference room. The public is invited to visit the bank during the month of June to view the creative art work of Ms. Jen and Ms. Endris.
Springhill Suites Hosted Award Winning Artists
SpringHill Suites by Marriott 1820 Country Place Pkwy hosted an art exhibit of two outstanding Pearland Arts League Artists May 3 through May31. Kelly Kronfeld, award winning artist, educator and owner of "Art & Kustom Kreations" exhibited her abstract impressionistic works. Visit artandkustomkreations.com. SpringHill Suites by Marriott has been instrumental in promoting the arts in Pearland with a 2014 eight artist exhibition and again with this 2015 "Art in Business" series for the month of May.

Pearland Arts League is please to collaborate with Frost Bank to highlight award winning photographer, Steve Fisher. The artist's work was on display until the last weekend of April at 5208 West Broadway (518) Frost Bank location.

The Courtyard by Marriott hosted two exceptional artists for the month of March 2015. Beginning March 1st and ending March 29th Artists, Lauren Luna and Tim Herschbach showed their work in the main second floor lobby of the Courtyard by Marriott at the Pearland Town Center Mall. Mr. Gary Shepherd, Manager of the Courtyard by Marriott, who is a supporter of the Pearland Arts League, sponsored artists in 2010 and continued his support with hosting these two Pearland area Artists. Ms. Luna is a teacher with the Alvin ISD and talented cityscape artists. Mr. Herschbach’s main interest is in photography emphasizing Texas southwest landscapes. His photography on gallery wrapped canvas has been popular with his clients. Pearland Arts League is proud to present these two talented artists. The Courtyard by Marriott 2nd floor lobby is open to the public.

Pearland Arts League Chairman of “ART to the MAX”
Pearland Arts League, in collaboration with Re/Max Top Realty, announced the joint venture of the “ART to the MAX” exhibition. Sam Ferreri, President of RE/MAX Top Realty invited Pearland Arts League 2D artists to exhibit their work in the extensive space of his 2911 S. Sam Houston Pkwy East Top Realty office.
Pearland Arts League volunteer chairman for this on-going “ART to the MAX” exhibition is Ms. Sally Stubbs. Ms. Stubbs coordinated the installation of over 60 pieces of art in the RE/MAX Top Realty offices at Beltway 8 and Hwy. 288. According to Ms. Stubbs, this “ART to the MAX” exhibition will continue throughout 2015 with changes and additions being made to the exhibit on monthly bases. Artists represented in this initial showing include talented Pearland Arts League artists from the greater Pearland area. Pearland Arts League member artist, Joan Moody, is chairing “Joan-of Art Student Show” exhibition at the Pearland Chamber of Commerce for the month of February and March. Ms. Moody is a well known art instructor in the Pearland area. Eleven of her students will exhibit over 25 pieces of art in the art exhibition space at the Pearland Chamber of Commerce.
